ABOUT US

Berlin has a scene as diverse as the people in it. Parties with clear codes and consent culture. Workshops on communication, boundaries, and the body. Performances that shift how you see society. Exhibitions that ask questions you haven't asked yourself yet.

But diversity only helps if you know what you're looking for. Or at least: who you want to be.

Are you looking for a community where you recognize yourself or one that challenges you? An evening that feels familiar, or one that shifts something? A space for exploration or for affirmation? Is it about consent practice, body work, art or simply the feeling that you're not alone in what moves you?

The Berlin Kink Calendar helps you answer these questions — before you walk through the door. That's the standard we curate it by. We are BERLINABLE.

Who is BERLINABLE?

An independent Berlin-based publishing house for erotic literature, cultural criticism, and social discourse. Founded on the conviction that sexuality is not a problem to be solved, but a space to be shaped with knowledge, language, and real stories.

We publish literature, essays, and interviews by artists, educators, and performers who inhabit this world themselves. No mainstream. No performance. No answers that come too quickly.

We bring the same standard to the Calendar: not just a list but context. What can I expect there? Who is this for? What do I need to feel comfortable? What might surprise me?

Because the right question matters more than the next event.

The Calendar is growing.
You can be part of it.

We can't be everywhere at once. But you were there at the party, in the museum, at the screening, on the workshop floor. These experiences disappear if no one writes about them.

As part of our Open Source Initiative, we publish texts from the community. About the fleeting and the recurring. About what you saw, felt, lived. The editorial team decides what gets published.
