Not every queer space needs a dancefloor. Sometimes the most radical thing you can do is show up in daylight, browse slowly, and spend your money on something made by someone who gets it.
On June 14th, Festsaal Kreuzberg opens its doors to the Big Gay Market: a full-day celebration of LGBTQ+ creativity, independent brands, and the kind of community that builds itself one conversation at a time. Doors open at 11:00, and the party runs until 20:00.

Nine hours of browsing, eating, listening, and connecting.
Over 100 curated stalls will fill the space with fashion, art, vintage, and lifestyle products from LGBTQ+ owned and queer-friendly designers and creatives from Berlin and beyond. This is not a generic market with a rainbow flag at the entrance.

Every vendor has been selected. The curation is the point. What you find here you won't find anywhere else.
Throughout the day, DJs and live performances keep the energy moving, while street food and drinks make sure no one runs out of reasons to stay. The format is deliberately open: come to shop, discover new brands, support independent creatives, or simply come to be somewhere that feels like yours.

The Big Gay Market is already established in other cities. Berlin is getting its own edition, and Festsaal Kreuzberg, right on the water in Treptow-Köpenick, is exactly the right backdrop for it. Capacity is limited, so tickets are worth securing in advance.

Everyone is welcome. That's not a disclaimer. It's the whole idea.
Before you mark your calendar: always double-check dates, location, and ticket info directly with the organizers.
Even the best promises come with fine print.
